The following supplements cover the versions of the media tools released after the publication of the 2nd edition of DMT.

If you had read the press releases and lists of new features for Adobe's Creative Suite 2, you could be forgiven for thinking that ImageReady no longer exists. It does, though, as you will find when you install Photoshop CS2. However, it has an air of neglect about it. Despite the changed version number, there seem to be no significant differences from the previous release. ImageReady does not even have a Browse command to access Bridge. Additionally, this release follows the last in rolling more of ImageReady's functionality into Photoshop: this time, animation has been added to Photoshop, leaving ImageReady with little to do, except unfashionable image rollovers and exporting SWF. It seems likely, that the next round of releases will take place without ImageReady (although this has been predicted before). Be that as it may, there is nothing to write about concerning ImageReady CS2 that isn't covered in Digital Media Tools or earlier updates.
